Can i thicken the liquid in the crockpot?

Hoping someone can help me fast--lol! I am making a recipe that is beef stew meat, mushrooms, gravy packet, beed broth and seasonings-- i just checked it out and its supposed to make more of a gravy but it is super watery--is there any way to thicken it up at all? would it help to add some flour? thanks!

Corn starch. Take about a tbsp or two of cornstarch in a small bowl, spoon out come of the stew liquid and make a slurry with the corn starch (kinda like a paste). Stir the slurry into the rest of the stew. It should then thicken as it cooks. If its still not thick enough repeat the process.

I dont like using flour, I find it doesnt do as good a job of thickening as corn starch

If you add flour, you can preshake it with some water and then mix that in and heat it. It will thicken it, but I would personally put it on the stove to heat it rather than the crockpot.

Yep, flour, corn starch, arrowroot...it'll all thicken up in the crockpot!

Also... tapioca pearls! I use it the thicken chili - it works well!
