No Milk?!?!

So my ds has been having some issues so his ped told me no dairy whatsoever for a while...

Does anyone have any no-dairy meal ideas for me?! I've found myself eating not the best variety of foods... I am normally a cheese person and have been wondering how to fill the gap?

Re: No Milk?!?!

Spaghetti, hamburgers, roast, chicken noodle soup, stew, chinese dishes,
There are some cheese substitues out there. My DD likes the galaxy rice cheese slices. you have to watch though, some 'dairy free' ones still have some casin in it.
So Delicious coconut yogurt is really good, and my dd drinks their brand of milk. it tastes the same as regular milk. I use it in cooking.

Its hard, i had to go off dairy while BF my DD. i love cheese! luckily i found out mozzarella didnt bother her like other dairy, so i could at least eat pizza.
She had to be off dairy untill just recently. At 2 1/2 she is just starting to tolerate cheese and yogurt.

Re: No Milk?!?!

Have you tried "other" milks? Almond, Rice, Hemp, Oat to name a few. Soy might be an option you? We are a milk free house my children have never even tasted it. We do cheat on cheese Let me think about it and I will post some stuff.

What about goat milk/cheese? Can you use that?

Re: No Milk?!?!

Meatballs w/spaghetti, plain meats (roasted chicken with potatoes and green beans, or roast beef with carrots, onions, potatoes). Stay away from processed foods, cheese, yogurt, milk...anything that contains milk. You could try almond milk, rice milk, soy milk (if no other allergies to these foods are present). There are some imitation cheese made from soy out there. You can make your own chicken nuggets with pieces of chicken dipped into crushed potato chips and baked. Hamburgers with milk free buns...
