Pain can be from an ovarian cyst working itself out too. I've had one and it's killer but nothing to worry about. ITA with Katie and Lori. Especially post nursing you really can't be sure of anything if you're not charting.

Squig- Thanks! Yea it is hard to tell. I hate having such a normal reg. body all these yrs. and then having all this weird crap go on while TTC our last child. Oh well. I will just keep waiting and hope everything disappears, don't want to waste my time or the docs. time.

The great part about being post partum is that we can expect the unexpected. AF may not be quite regular yet. More than likely you are not even ovulating or ovulating every cycle. You cannot base being late on your pre-PG cycles as each PG can change your cycle.

You cannot base being "late" on an ovulation that is not confirmed either unfortunately. If you do not want to chart yet but would like to see when and your fertility has come back, you may want to use a monitor like OvaTel. It uses saliva, not urine. So no test strips to buy each cycle. You can use it anytime, so works well for busy moms on the go. You will be able to really track your cycles better that way. I too have been having the vaginal pain here and there and random spotting. It is fairly normal when your fertility has not quite returned but is trying.
