I just did 1- I used the back of a chair to make it into a circle and then you can see what colors I put where in the pic on post 1.

I made sure to make the dark blue really dark so I used alot more than I did the other dyes. I didnt purposely overlap any either- but they so sort of come together and create more colors. I made sure that I soaked it in vinegar and water for 45 minutes before I started and put vinegar in with the dye and water. I just poured it on too because the syringe I was using broke and got impatient using a spoon I layed it on saran wrap before I put the dye on then once the dye was on I wrapped and used the micro to set it

Those look great! I second the TRY TO LEARN TO KNIT plea. So many people think it it too hard and never try. Once I took the time to sit down and read a little about it, it sank right in. My first project was a pair of longies!

It really is pretty easy!!
