crocheted projects

So, took a break from unpacking, and finished these this weekend:

This one is the Aquisgran purewool. Looked not at all like I had expected from this picture, but I liked it anyway. Made me think of bananas. I kept sniffing the yarn to see if it smelled like them, too!

And these are from some yarn I snagged from Lynne off FSOT. Sealife colorway:

Right now I'm working on a shorties/cap set in acrylic (yick!) yarn, for a non-CDing friend whose baby shower is on Friday. I also had some leftover fuzzy yarn from a shawl I made, and I'm going to do up a little crochet puppy to go with the set. I'll have to work quick this week to get everything ready by Friday!

Great Job! Yeah, I would have expected that yarn to have more burgandy in it than yellow from the pic.

I have that same PW colorway and I can't wait to knit it up now! I have a monkey around here that loves bananas!
