Re: KNitters- I need your help!

I'd probably need to see a pic- but I think one problem is pulling to tight when changing colors, I find when I switch (I don't carry, I just start with the new color) the trick is to keep the tension even not tight at the change...

Sorry its giving you fits, I hate that feeling....

Oh yes Amber that reminded me when you do the jogless jog it may pull the stitch two rows down tight and hide it. You might need to pull it back out so that it is exposed. Do you know how to adjust the tension on individual stitches?

So the problem is with your tension...I have only done stripes once on a hat (and didn't have any problems). Aimee...I'm curious...how do you adjust tension on individual stitches??? Just go in with the needle and loosen/tighten where it needs it??

Not a clue. Really I'm a beginner. I've just done the one pair of capris so far LOL I don't need perfection I'm going for no huge holes right now LOL

Yep that is all you do. I use a tapestry needle. But you need a basic understanding of where the stitch attaches and if you have pulled that stitch tight it will be hard to find at first. It isn't super hard to figure out but when you are new you might not see how things go at first.
