Those are super awesome! Better than some I've seen for sale! How did you get the swirls? I want to do this with my kids this summer while we are all home on vacation. Is it easy to do with kids? I have two 12 year olds and a 9 year old who want to do it...or is it just too messy? Give me some tips please! I'm really afraid of dye! LOL! Did you have some sort of instruction book or something?

The kids didn't help me. Mine are too young. But I would think that 12 and 9 is old enough. It was messy, but I did it in the house. With kids I'd definately do it outside!! I used cups to dip it in instead of a bottle to squirt it with. If I were doing it outside though I'd use bottles. It makes multi colors alot easier.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing it outside for sure! Where did you get directions on how to do it? How do you get it to swirl like that? I like how you didn't use too many colors on each piece!

I just did several searches on the internet to get some ideas. Mostly I just did alot of twisting.

Nice job, mama!
You've clearly mastered the swirl much better than I did for the 1st tie dye try! Awesome!!! Love how they all turned out!

Ok, now I have to ask: I just read your comment to Linda about 'dipping them in'. How on earth did you do that? I try to imagine a 'swirled' tee.. Did you use the bunched up tee and just dipped it flat side into a dish w/the dye? Sorry if that sounds dumb!
