Re: Using Menstrual Cups for TTC
I need details on this... I researched the Diva Cup and some of the reviews on Amazon scared me... is it really that tough to use and get used to? do you insert it right after DTD while you are lying down or do you get u and go to the bathroom to do it? I think all romance will be killed forever if I try to put this sucker in after sex and fumble around out in the open... I'll need to get to the bathroom, but then doesn't that defeat the purpose?
Thanks for help/tips!!!! |

. It was easy to insert after you figured out how to do it. And it's easier to insert after DTD. I usually do it right after in bed so we can cuddle without worrying about losing it when running to the bathroom ![]() I would get the Instead Cups. I used the Diva Cup for couple of cycles and I still don't have a bump. As far as the Preseed. Yes, it's sperm friendly. It doesn't kill the swimmers and it lets them through while the other lubricants act like a barrier and make it too hard for them. Not sure if you read it yet but here is more info on EPT-website: http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com...y-preseed.html

Re: Using Menstrual Cups for TTC
it makes a bit more sense to me to use the instead cup as it sits right up to the cervix where as the diva cup sits in the vagina. my diaphram is just like a instead cup! and fits me perfect where as the instead cup is too big for my cervix and it often pops out! LOL

Re: Using Menstrual Cups for TTC
My local rite aid had the instead cup. I just bought them yesterday. It was a 14pack (i think) for $7.99. I have a diva cup and a lady cup. I really prefer my ladycup...it is more flexable and easier to use. I used it last month for ttc and it didn't work...we'll see what happens this month!

Re: Using Menstrual Cups for TTC
I got the Diva because I thought $7 for 6 ICs was crazy! Plus I was worried about the fit because I read so many reviews about the IC not fitting with a tilted cervix. I never thought I would try any cups but using for TTC was convincing enough. I was worried about the location of a reusuable cups vs the Instead, that is why I posted this thread in the first place.
. I couldn't believe how easy it was to put in and that I could really not feel it.

Re: Using Menstrual Cups for TTC
hmm... so which one should I get? Has anyone had success using the Diva or Lady cup? I would love to sway towards girl, but really either is fine by me so long as we get the chance to have a 2nd baby
Winnie just asks for a sister, but she'd love a brother too! So... I just need someone to say- Get this, do this and tada!!! You will be pregnant! Can't anyone do that for me???
