I totally agree. A year ago, I was sleep deprived, overwhelmed and just plain worn out. Now that my dd is 19 months, FINALLY sttn, and in general out of the baby stage, I can actually even consider having another. Although neither DH or I am there just yet.

Take your time, let DH do the same and see what happens in a year or so. If you are healthy and age is not a factor to you personally, then take as much time as you. You sound like you did not rush into your first, take the same consideration with your second.

So far our 2nd was the easiest addition to the family, and he was a super easy and laid back baby esp in contrast to his older brother. And I feel so fortunate that I was blessed enough to give my first son the gift of a baby brother (or two or three... lol)
