Vaccination reaction...

DD had this reaction after her 2,4 and 6 month shots. Every time we ended up in the ER with dehydration. They always said it was a virus, because the shots don't have that reaction, but she would be pukey for 2 weeks to a month. I didn't do any more shots until she hit 2 years and now we do them one at a time.

Sorry mama! I hope it's just a virus and nothing like the reactions we dealt with!

Yes it was oral...just forgot that. Hard to keep it all straight. He got 3 shots and one oral. He felt better after about 2 days. I know it was the shots, I think mom's just know. Next round will be not be all at once. Thanks for the info Mama's

6 had a reaction after his 6 month shots. His was that he was absolutely inconsolable for 24 hours. The only time he wasn't screaming was when he was sleeping. He also ran a low grade fever. I honestly can't remember which shot it was that did it. The peds office said of all the ones he got it was this one particular shot that he was also supposed to get at his 12 month as the last in the series. Needless to say we haven't gotten that shot yet, and most probably won't be getting it.
