Re: Can you watch horror/suspense movies that have babies?

That Angelina Jolie movie- oh I forgot what it was called too- was HORRIBLE and depressing. ugh
I don't like scary/bloody movies that involve kids either, but I especially hate it when the kids are the "villian"...it is just so creepy.

yes its hard watching kids in those situations we are in the film biz
http://www.furnacethemovie.com/
this is one of DH movies he has produced see the scary person under the stairs thats a child yikes some scripts call for a child my DH tries his best to find an adult for the role our DS has had some crazy auditions one being along side of dakota fanning in a movie where there was beating and molestation i said nope NO WAY. I do know that on alot of films there are counselors to talk to the family and explain to the children this is all acting you know make believe but i still wouldnt want mine in those situations.

Changling? I loved the movie, though it was super sad what happened.. sure makes me keep a hawks eye on my children all the time now!

But, I have a harder time watching anything w/ kidnapping in it. This is a MAJOR fear of mine.

I don't watch horror at all. But I used to.. When Elie was born, we became so sensitive with my husband.. we are trying to avoid violent films now..Because every time we see a child get hurt in a movie we started thinking what if something like that will happen to our child..so it's NO to horror movies now!!!

It made me sick to my stomach to see Changeling, the boy in the striped pajamas and shutter island.
