This is not meant to be a debate at all on the pros or cons of circ'ing so don't make it one please. I am 50/50 on the issue and have read all the literature and seen the video.

Cory was supposed to be circ'ed in the hospital but his BM fled before the proper papers could be signed. So here we are 6 weeks later and I finally got an appointment with a pediatric urologist to have it done today. Well he didn't get it done. The urologist couldn't do it in office as he noticed that Cory has a rotation of his penis.. meaning his penis has a twist to it and as a result he will actually have to be sedated to have the procedure done when he is 6 months old. Has anyone elses child experienced a rotated penis and if so what was the outcome? If they circ'ed were there any complications as a result of the rotation? If you didn't circ and left it alone how was the outcome? Looking at it it doesn't look "rotated" but when the doctor was examining him he did show me how its twisted a bit.

yes, my cousins baby just had this, and he had to wait till 6 months or so to be circ'd cause they wanted a ped urologist to do it and they needed to do it as an outpatient surgery and he needed anestesia. Anyways, it just happened recently and we live right near you so if you need the name of the dr or anything, let me know and i will get it for you

Elijah has this and was circumcised. He is at a higher risk for UTI than normal for a little boy bc of the twist but has only had one in 6 years

I'm sure it will be fine. I know how frustrating it can be when things aren't just plain old "normal" with baby. My DS had a hernia and an undescended testacle. Had to have surgery. It is worrysom. But it all works out. Congrats on the adoption btw!
