Haven't read the rest of the replies. But I JUST made my own flannel ones yesterday well for the second time. I do it the simple way with recieving blankets and I just chop em into squares and don't even serge the edges. EASY PEASY!
Simple oh and free as the blankets were free.

Oh but I do agree that my FAVORITE wipes are the gerber cheapo ones with polyester cotton blend! Those are soft and work sooo well!

My favorite are sherpa/cotton velour made by katedanzer (Eli-e wipees). I don't like flannel at all.

Thanks for the replies ladies!! I guess to start I'll get some Gerber washcloths, but also keep an eye on the remnant bin at the fabric store for some flannel, velour, and terry.
