Hemp

Has anybody tried making their own hemp liners?

Can I get hemp at a regular fabric store?

What is the average cost of hemp by the square foot?

How did you make your own hemp liners? Please explain in as much detail as you can!

I want to make my own and use them in conjunction with the mf inserts in my BGOS.

Thanks!

I have along with prefolds and flats.

You would have to look locally but I've never herd of it in regular stores.

It runs $10-15 per yard, its about 55-60" wide.

Do you sew?

I dont but my mother in law does.

I would love to make some liners and prefolds with it.

Can you tell me how to do that?

You should check out nature's fabrics -- there's a website and a yahoo group. They sell a lot of diaper making supplies there (I haven't ordered from them yet, but I have heard good things about them!)

Re: Hemp

You can buy knit hemp scraps from Hemp Traders for $4.00 per pound.

http://www.hemptraders.com/index.php?cPath=44&osCsid=03b2525d704b6b7cb4025de3 f0d18993

Scroll down and you'll see them. You want the knit, not the woven.

Any idea how many pounds I would want or need to make a bunch of hemp inserts?
