Re: Cloth and Walking

dd1 was cded since birth and was walking by 10 months which was alot quicker then others children who were using sposies. I don't think it makes a difference if they are cded or not

My DD was walking unassisted at 10 months. Cloth definitely hasn't slowed her down!

Here's a funny.. my two oldest weren't cloth diapered until after they walked, at age 12 months. My next two were cloth diapered from birth and one walked at 7.5 months and 8.5 months Maybe the cloth diapers helped (just kidding)

Re: Cloth and Walking

Parents magazine drives me nuts. They really like to pretend that they know what they're talking about, don't they? Cloth hasn't slowed my little one (14 months) down at all!

Re: Cloth and Walking

I'd have to say no...my son started walking a few days past his 9 month "birthday". My friend's CD'd daughter started walking at 9 months as well.

Re: Cloth and Walking

My youngest is the only one I got to cloth diaper. And I didn't start until he was about 6 months old. He started walking at 8 months! Much earlier than his brothers who started right before their first birthday. I don't think it's the diaper at all! I think it's up to the kids on that one.

Re: Cloth and Walking

does not seem to slow my little guy down at all and provides a little extra padding for when he goes down on his butt
