Braxton Hicks?

I think I've been having BH contractions yesterday and so far, most of this morning. I can feel my belly tightening, but only on the inside - if that makes sense. The outside of my belly does get a little harder than usual, but not by much. I feel it tighten, stay that way for a few minutes, and then I feel the tightening again. I don't remember what they felt like when I was pregnant with my 2.5 year old - I thought I was having BH contractions with her but then went for a NST and was contracting every 3-5 minutes and was 5cm (at 40w4d - I'm 21 weeks today). Does what I'm feeling sound like BH to any of you? Yesterday I felt it on and off all day, maybe for an hour at a time and then it'd subside but would start up again an hour or so later.

Yes sounds like BH. Perfectly normal to feel them more with subsequent pregnancies. As long as they don't continue on and progress you are fine

I've been having them too. My midwife said as long as I don't get more than 5 in an hour, I'm fine. If I get 6 an hour I need to drink water and lie down for an hour. If I have more than 5 in that hour, I need to to to L&D immediately.

I just called L&D and spoke with a nurse, and she told me the same thing - drink a lot of water and if I have more than 4 an hour, I should come in. I haven't been timing them but am going to start to. I think I've had 3 so far this hour (6pm).
