My very petite 16m old (19.5lbs) fits very nicely into BabyKicks Bumboo pockets (bamboo/cotton inside), bumGenius Organic AIOs (organic cotton inside) and AMP One Size Duos on medium (usually with a JoeyBunz inside).

My 15 month old twin is in the 3rd % on his corrected age(13month) chart so I have had problems fitting my little man too! I have found that BG organic OS fits the best otherwise I have to put a wool cover over everything even the AIO because they just don't fit right. I will have to look at trying some of the above diapers and see if they will work.

my tall and skinny LO fits amazingly into gdiapers never tried any other cloth ones though

I was going to suggest AMPs as they are soooo tight on my chubby guy, so I'd think they'd fit better on a slim baby.
For fitteds, I'd say try Mutts Babyshapes. They are made SMALL. The ones I sent you would be Mother-ease One-size.....and Mutts 3snap-rise...which is a one-size. I'm thinking now that the Mother-ease will be too big just yet. Hmmmm....,.try a Thirsties sz small....
I think you'd find a best fit if you went with sized diapers rather then o/s.
OR try a flip system! If you can find one used, try the organics.
