Gum all smashed up in babies hair....

I now know how to get it out without pain/crying/cutting hair

I forgot Chloe had gum in her mouth and didn't notice for hours that it had become wadded and smushed into the roots of her hair behind one ear. I almost started crying. I thought I was going to have to cut her beautiful little curls off. BUT dundundudun! MIL to the rescue! She tells me to use....PEANUT BUTTER. Just rub it all around and it dissolves the gum. It takes a bit but I got the whole wad out in about 15 minutes without losing very much hair. Just wanted to share this little tip that I learned today with anyone else who doens't already magically know.

Yup. My mom had to do that to me once -- my hair was down to my waist in those days.

Man, my mom just used ice and then cut it out...I wish she'd a known...Hehe

I learned this the hard way with my 3 year old. I called everyone I knew and no one answered and so I cut it out days later when everyone sees her new "do" and asks what happened I got the duh you didnt know about pb... I could have cried.
