Re: Lana nursing pads? HUGE!

buy a good wool wash bar like the one from Suds and Dudz. They take a while to "break in". I also put spray lanolin on one side of them only. I place the lanolized side away from me towards my bra. That way they absorb when I let down and then they repel on the clothing side. I have two pair of the smalls and I had concerns in the beginning but now nothing could get through those babies! Oh, I forgot, the way to remember which side to place towards my body (the unlanolized side) I place a dot with a black majic marker.

Re: Lana nursing pads? HUGE!

I also LOVED my Lana. I was scared of the size, but the ended up being the only ones that didn't show under clothes, and they were so soft and worked well... until....I washed them. Then, like the previous poster, they leaked right through! It was the strangest thing. I washed them with my sudz & dudz bar, and treated them gently like I do all of my wool. I even put my Sudz lanolin on them after that, but still shot right through. Does anyone else have any ideas? I was so sad that they seem to not work at all now.
