That's fine for Radian, but does the seat have "smart" airbags? If it has airbags that sense not to go off when there isn't much weight in the chair, it can mess them up, and is a safety hazard.

You might try making the front seat slightly more upright. Sometimes you can buy 2 or 3 inches by not letting it be so reclined.

It sounds like the Radian is in the 3rd row.

Thanks but, This is in the third row. It's a 12 pass van so there are three rows (bench) in the back and two captians up front. The seat in front of this carseat does not move.
