Hi ladies! I'm glad to see all the babies doing well. So far our princess has been measuring a few ounces above normal weight despite the placenta issue. I go back next week to check placenta function and growth again. I alternate between MFM & my regular obgyn so I'm seen every 2 weeks. My ob said she's comfortable delivering any time from here on out as needed. I'm 27 weeks 1 day and this week we're just relaxing with all the big kids in Disney.

Re: August 2016 May Chat

Took a nap today and woke up from a really strong contraction. I'm only 25 weeks 4 days. I have a midwife appt tomorrow, so I'll talk to her then, but have any of you had painful contractions that early?

Yes! My braxton hicks are always more painful than actual labor contractions. I honestly can't tell when I go in to labor because of it.

Anyone else struggling on names? My DH and I can't agree on anything and it's driving me nuts!

Re: August 2016 May Chat

We decided on a name a few weeks ago.
But for our last baby, which was number five, she didn't have a name until weeks before she was born. I had to just do my best to not think about it non stop. Even after we decided on a first name, it took even longer to come up with a middle name, maybe a week before she was born. For both, I remember the moment I realized what each name would be! It just all of a sudden became clear what it was meant to be.
I hope you can find a name you both love soon, so it doesn't make you crazy!!

Re: August 2016 May Chat

We were narrowed down to two...but we're back up to five. I just don't love anything. Wish I did.
We named our last two weeks before she was born, but I was really hoping that I'd fall in love with something this time a little sooner.

We're pretty sure we have a first name, but middle name is still up in the air.

Glad to hear about everyone's healthy little ones!

I can't do the gd screening because the readings get skewed. I'm high at 1 hr and very low at 2 & 3 hrs. Plus the drink makes me sick for days afterwards.
