Do you like the curly purly soaker pattern? I have never used soakers and I thought I might make one or two for my ttc stash. I'm concerned that the waist will stretch out some and not fit well. Do you have any other suggestions?

I've done the curly purly, but I prefer the Vanilla Soaker. The ribbing pattern through the crotch area makes is super durable as an overnight soaker.

I use the Snapdragon Soaker pattern. It's free and I found it to be a great fit on my boys.

I like this one too.

The other thing I like to do is just add ribbing to a pair of longies instead of do the legs.

I've knit the curly purly and it's not my favorite. I prefer a soaker with a drawstring, so I just knit the one included in my EviePants pattern. If you're looking for a heavy duty overnight soaker the key is thick yarn, IMHO. We use a lot of soakers at night.
