Elimination Diets

Do any of you have any elimination diets that you would recommend?

I am trying to weed out possible triggers to my asthma. I have done an elimination before with success and it was suggested I do that again.

The last one I found online years ago.

Recently I was on the whole 30 but I started getting reactions to more foods. I read up on it and I am not alone.

Re: Elimination Diets

I don't...I tend to avoid such things because if it's something I love, I'd rather not know. Although no asthma here, so that makes it easier. Hopefully you'll figure something out!

Re: Elimination Diets

I'm not much help but I remember my Mom cured her lifetime asthma by not eating wheat (maybe gluten?) and dairy. I believe she kept off them for several years and slowly worked a limited amt into her diet. She did this when I was a kid probably 25 years ago. If she still limits I don't noticed when we are together.

I think I'm just going to strictly go off the things I know already bother me. I do think diet makes a huge difference in asthma but you have to figure out what the triggers are.

Maybe if I start there I won't discover new reactions every week.

We have done Whole 30 as well and it’s hard to stick to. We do modified paleo with some gluten free grains and limited dairy and ghee. It has helped me with RA big time!
