I guess my only gripe is that I don't think either of them are even pregnant. If they were at least pregnant or TTC and working on a noob stash, it probably wouldn't bother me at all. -sigh- the things that irritate my pregnant mind. >.<

It really has nothing to do with you. Sorry. Just having a really off day. :-/
I say stupid stuff when I'm having a bad day.

Re: Anyone else working on diaper stashes?

The first of my stash is starting to arrive.

Off the top of my head:

2 Graham Bear Wear NB fitteds
3 Bummis covers (1 super brite, 2 whisper wrap)
11 NB BG AIOs
Thirsties Size 1 cover

also:
5 or 6 small BG AIOs
small swim cover
a consignment shop unknown prefold or two from my SIL

I plan to buy about 18 bamboo prefolds
snappis, wetbags, pail liners
Not sure I will buy much else for NB stage besides that, but will get some one-size that size down a decent amount if they are needed in a bind. Open to suggestions.

p.s. Due June 29th with a boy.

Re: Anyone else working on diaper stashes?

I am pretty much done with newborn size stuff I think. I have never had a newborn size baby, they all went right into size smalls but my doctors assure me with twins they will be newborn size, I hope they are right. But here is the newborn stash without a picture because that would require me getting off the couch and laying everything out.

2 dozen GMD orange edge prefolds
2 dozen newborn imagine prefolds
2 dozen small imagine prefolds
6 nana bottoms AIOs
6 THX AIOs
8 imagine newborn covers
3 RAR newborn covers
2 imagine fitteds
2 imagine newborn AIOs

Then I have 2 imagine OS pockets and a handful of leftover OS fitteds that I never got around to selling after my 2 year old PLd.

I'm still looking for coming home outfits and diaper covers so I'll be adding 2 more covers into the mix at some point.

Re: Anyone else working on diaper stashes?

DS1 was born at 38 weeks and weighed 8 lbs 1 oz, but I was using sposies at that time. DS2 was born at 39 weeks and weighed 8 lbs 10 oz so I just used sposies until his cord fell off around two weeks and went straight to small and OS diapers (he grew so fast!). DD surprised me and was only 7 lbs 10 oz and pretty much all of the diapers I had were too big. I'm planning on mainly prefolds and prorap covers because I know those were the only things to really fit well under DD's cord and still be absorbent. I'm so tempted by all the cute pockets and AIOs and covers and fitteds, but I'm trying to restrain myself. My newborn stash is done! (at least that's what I'm telling myself) I'll buy some gender specific small or OS diapers once the chipmunk arrives and I know whether I need to stock up on some boy diapers or not.

Re: Anyone else working on diaper stashes?

BTW, to add a little squishiness to the thread, here's a pic of DS2 around two weeks in an OS AI2:

And here's DD at about 1.5 weeks in a KL0 (not near absorbent enough!) and a NB prorap (my favorite!):

A week shy of 2 months old, 14 pounds, sunbaby pocket. Yes I know how miserable she looks. She ate ALL the time!

Love NB proraps!! Did you think the preemie prefold was absorbent enough? I'm hoping to use those at first for less bulk, but I'm not sure they'll hold enough. That was the biggest problem with DD, everything that actually fit her, leaked. :/

For the like 3 weeks they fit, they were fine. She's always been the type to go frequently but not very much in volume. So as long as she was changed when wet, it was fine.

I love the grovia prefolds I have for #3 they are in between premie and infant size and thicker than premies.
