Chicago, IL/Sheboygan, WI or surrounding areas

We are looking to move toward that area in about a year and i would like to find out where the best area is.

We have 3 kiddos right now and when we move we hope to either be preg or have a newbie. My oldest will be in 1st grade when we move up there(we plan on moving when she gets out of kinder). then we have one that will be going into preschool(4 yrs old) and then a 2 1/2 yr old. All these ages are how old they will be when we move up there.

So i am looking for a great family area and great schools. we try to eat organic foods and healthy, its been tough with money wise but we are trying our best. We like to go walking and playing outside. I want to buy a house that has about an acre of land and allows farm animals(chickens) and dogs.

Dh will be transfering his job up there, he is a Premise Tech with AT&T Uverse.

Can anyone please help me!!!

I can't help you too much unless you are moving to Milwaukee. Chicago and Sheboygan are about a 3 hour drive apart from each other so there is a lot of territory to cover in between.

I am about 45 minutes south of Chicago. I live in the country and we have great schools out here.
You should look into the New Lenox, Manhattan, Monee, Crete area.
If you want less country and more suburbs, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Palos, Alsip ( only the parts right next to Palos) and oak lawn are good areas as well.

Are the options Sheboygan or Chicago? Those areas are pretty far apart.

no those arent only options but we have to be close to the city as DH works with AT&T Uverse and has to be where there is at&t based out of. im not sure where yet tho because we have to wait till a job opens up in that area to know exactly where or how far away we can be from his work. thank you ladies for your help. i just want to get a good vibe from up there and wehre good schools are since we have 3 kids.

my parents live in Cleveland WI which is an absurdly small town about 20 min north of Sheboygan. And I live in the western burbs of chicago.

Each has their good points. But they are pretty different. and are a good three hours apart...
