Wipes question

I am wanting to buy some more wipes. We are line drying now and I would love to buy what ever can be dried that way and come in the least crispy. It's not bad with my son's wipes since we wet them down, but it would be nice for the family cloth to be softer. So far running them through the drier afterward isn't really helping.
Suggestions?

Re: Wipes question

I use ecover, and my flannel wipes come off the line super soft.

Grovia wipes. I can dry them inside in less than an hour by just hanging them. Inside or out, they never get rough. Just as soft as they always are.

Grovia's stay soft for us line-drying too, but be cautious of unraveling threads on the outside. Ours came undone on two packages within less than a month, it was a total pain to get replacements, and then they only sent us one package to replace my two.

Most of our wipes are now from Wild Mountain Mommies. One side is flannel, but the other side is fleece. The flannel gets kinda stiff, but the fleece side stays nice and soft.

The more synthetic a fabric is, the softer it will be with line drying. Although the higher percentage of synthetics means that it will also be less absorbent. Fleece is going to be the softest w/ line-drying, although it doesn't absorb any water. I'd suggest going with cotton velour if you want absorbency.

I had the opposite experience with flannel. My are crispy all the time.

Yeah, most of mine I made from flannel and they get cardboard stiff on the line.

Thanks for the ideas! I'm excited to get some new ones ordered.
