Re: Is it more fun to use a serger machine?

Anybody want a serger? I have a singer, got it used and have no idea if there is anything wrong with it, most likely just operator ignorance but I hate it, I spend most of the time rethreading and can't get tension right. You can have it for shipping.

Re: Is it more fun to use a serger machine?

I don't personally have a serger, but I've used one and they're AMAZING! It is so convenient and makes projects go so much more quickly. I am making cloth wipes to use with diapering, and I wish I had one to use for them.

Re: Is it more fun to use a serger machine?

I wish I had a serger! It is so nice for finishing seams and especially for knits. I want to save up and get one. I sew a fair amount of clothing, and I would do even more if I had a serger.

I made my own fitted cloth diapers without a serger. I did them turned and topstitched. It looks more polished than serged, but you have to sew two seams.

Sorry this took so long. It's about 13 lbs so I figured 15 in box. Just guessed some box sizes to plug into the USPS calculator, so these aren't perfectly accurate, but here's what it looks like

Even if she doesn't you can Google the instruction manual. I did that for a machine I bought at a yard sale.
