Re: Bamboo - does anyone else find this?

I've never had any issues with any of my bamboo diapers. I have 15-20 bamboo fitteds and prefolds that I've used for over a year without any issues.

I thought about adding pictures but I am not sure how to do that.

Re: Bamboo - does anyone else find this?

We've never had any issues with any of our bamboo, either.

Maybe exclusive to the maker(s) ... hate to say that, but possible? We've used bamboo prefolds, Bagshot Row Bamboo fitteds, Piddle Poddles, Goodmamas and OBV doublers without ever getting any holes.

If wash routine's a concern, we use Tide and tumble dry with wool dryer balls.

Re: Bamboo - does anyone else find this?

I have heard a couple WAHM's say that it could be the needle. If a ballpoint needle is not used that can cause bamboo to get holes/run (but it also depends on type of machine you have as some sergers cannot use ballpoints as they have their own special needles). I have also had another mama say that if it is pre-washed before sewing too many times that it can happen as the material is more supple within the first 3 to 4 washes. The first batch of bamboo the WAHM washed 3 times, the second WAHM pre-washed 6 times.
