Re: Is it just MY son???

Yes, pretty normal for two, IME. My DD has been a busy kid since day one, and still is at almost 9. She NEVER stops moving until she is asleep. Luckily, she loves to read and listen to music and stories, but even then, she does best if she has a fidget toy or something. My youngest is similar, and at 4, he is still covered in everything at the end of the day. My middle child is somewhat less busy.

I always watched mamas with quiet children who sat by her side with envy. From the time my DD could walk, I would covet those sweet, calm babies who sat beside their mums at picnics and played "properly" on the toys. I don't anymore. Busy, spirited kids may be a challenge, but they are fun, and I have burned a tonne of calories chasing them.

Since he was in the womb. I doubt it will change. It can be crazy sometimes now that he runs every.friggin.where, but it makes for tons more for him to do and learn

ETA: I do cherish the rare moments he wants to cuddle, and that he will randomly stop mid run to come over and give me a kiss or a hug every so often. Makes it more special

Yds is like this. He is 2 and has to be doing something constantly. My nephew was the same, he is now almost 6 and has to be constantly stimulated by something still,
