Ok kid- you can show up now

That is all. I'm all done waiting, husband goes back to school in just a few days and well..I'm all done now. I've never gone late before (32, 39, 39) and I'm 40w5d. Sure, I have been in on and off labor since 36ish weeks...but she is just taking her time and I am cranky.

I give you credit for pushing on! My 2nd was 41w1d and my 3rd was induced at 40w5d I was DONE! My 4th I was actually relieved to induce at 36w5d and I'm hoping this one will be at 37w.

Mine are always late. So miserable those last few days.

So what have you tried to move things along?

I'm rooting for her to hurry! I know that doesn't actually help, but I'm afraid I can't actually help. Maybe she'll decide to come soon and when she does she will come fairly quick--just enough time to get to the midwife but not enough time that you spend the whole day in labor.

I don't really have the option for induction! We are a VBAC case, so it isn't super safe...plus, we are using a midwife about two hours away, since the small local hospital isn't too keen on allowing me to vbac (I would have to have a scheduled c/s)

Not too much of the crazy stuff. Evening Primrose oil and DTD. We are going to have my membranes sweeped I think at our 41 week on Monday. Both my doc and midwife say not much else actually does anything, and just ends up bugging your stomach and making you tired for when labor finally does start!

I know. Well, she has to decide to come soon...I mean, you can't be pregnant forever, right??? But yeah, I am slowly losing my mind.

I'm so curious to hear how things went! I'm guessing you have a baby by now??
I was almost 42 weeks with both of my girls. Some women go longer.. I have found that membrane sweeps, primrose oil, and walking helps!
