Re: Would you use medical marijuana?

Yes, I would. I agree that pharmaceuticals have more and scarier side effects.

Yes. I would. But not for my asthma. For cancer type situations, yes. For anxiety, yes. But I would rather ingest it. I have in the past and hated smoking it, but brownies were my friend during my battle with my brain tumor and after they removed it, it helped deal with the pain.

Eta it has been over six years since I've used it.

No, not in a million years and I wouldn't change my mind no matter how bad it got. I have several conditions I probably could use it for. I have pinched nerves, slipped discs and knee/joint issues. I live life with daily pain. I also have a scar on my cornea and even a little bit of wind blowing my eye can make my cornea tear. It tore for a year every two weeks to every month. It is excruciating blinding (literally) pain which makes my eye swell shut for a week. I also have such bad anxiety I can't drive a car anymore. Pot ruined my life in the past. I don't want to elaborate but it is not something I enjoy. I also don't take anything stronger than asprin though and probably wouldn't. I hate medication.

I wish DH could take it for his anxiety. Prescription drugs make him feel like a zombie, so he just suffers, which means we all suffer. If I needed it, I'd use it

Absolutely, if it were made legal enough that the state and federal nursing boards allowed it. I worked and will again work at the V.A. Part time in hopes of becoming full time. So I have to consider my license.

Re: Would you use medical marijuana?

For a medical condition sure. The side effects of most prescription drugs makes me want to stay far, far away unless that's the only option. My sister had terminal cancer and it wasn't until she started smoking pot (illegally since at the time it was not medically legal) that her quality of life greatly improved until about 2 months before she died when her pain got so great her doctor's put her on a self-administered morphine drip.

Re: Would you use medical marijuana?

I'm trying to get my husband to start using CBD oil for his arthritic ankle. I think that's actually legal everywhere. but since he is looking for a job he wants to wait until he is sure he doesn't need drug testing at his new job JIC.

I would definitely consider if for a health reason, even for my kids.
