Our classes through DHS for foster care/adopt start tomorrow.

What should we expect?

Re: Classes start tomorrow

Well...Hopefully you will have a good leader (we did). Expect roll play, talking about situations that may or may not apply to your preferences (example only taking 1 yr and under and talking about teen behavioral issues). Different methods of coping with stress, deliverance of punishment verses consequences, how to work together with everyone to get the best result for said child. Nothing super personal happens at any of the meetings.

Thanks! We actually learned a lot! There was plenty of time to ask questions and get REAL LIFE answers instead of DHS BS. We enjoyed it.
