Re: Iron Infusion via IV???

Real quick here...

Just went back to Amazon.com to reread some of the reviews from the last couple months. THEY'RE GONE!! I can't believe it! I wanted to glean some info on other's results and compare with my own when I get new lab results. I swear, there were 903 reviews just 2 hours ago!! And at least 3 of them were from yesterday alone!

Something smells fishy!

I see 400+ reviews for blood builder but nothing recent. Last one was from 2015

Re: Iron Infusion via IV???

4 days later and I'm still taking the Blood Builder, blackstrap molasses, lots of green smoothies and spinach quiche. I feel GREAT!! I'll be calling the clinic where I was supposed to get the iron infusion done, that I will be postponing it!! Why mess up your body with artificial supplements that can do great harm when you've found something natural that is actually working?

Glory to GOD!!

That's great! My hemoglobin was at a 5. I got a call today that it is at the normal range. I figured, because I feel well.

How long did it take for your hemoglobin to go from 5 to normal eating the way you described in an earlier post? Did you take any iron or blood building supplements?

I'm still feeling really good!! Can't wait to see what my lab results will be tomorrow!

Re: Iron Infusion via IV???

I had a blood draw at about 2 weeks before I had my baby. Upped natural iron intake. Decided to also use the iron a couple of days before I delivered. Gave birth no problems. Had my tubes tied & hemorrhaged. Took the iron for about a week (probably more like 4 days, I hate taking iron) and went back to upping my natural intake. Then had my blood drawn again at 7 weeks pp. I'm also breastfeeding. Maybe it's because I delivered?

Re: Iron Infusion via IV???

Original labs on 7/12
HGB 8.4
HCT 28.7
PLT 85,000 (I have naturally low platelets)

Labs on 7/26
HGB 8.6
HCT 29.4
PLT 92,000 (amazing! It never goes up in late pregnancy!)

One week on Blood Builder, blackstrap molasses, and lots of spinach. I'm keeping it up!!

Re: Iron Infusion via IV???

Still feeling great!!

My OB office just called. She will not order any more labs unless I get an iron infusion! Seriously?!?! Isn't that bullying?? That's just not right.

Last week I ordered a hemoglobin monitor and it will be here Thursday. I guess it's a good thing I ordered it! If I don't see my levels rise a lot more within a couple more weeks I guess I'll have no choice but to get the infusion, as much as I'm AGAINST it.
