Day weaning?

Anyone day-weaned instead of night-weaned?

I asked about this a while back but didn't get any responses. We are trying to day wean because DS starts at a Montessori school next week. He is only going half time. Then we are on vacation and then he starts full time. He has been doing well except the past two days he has been sick and back to nursing a lot. I think he will do okay though. I started to cut out the morning feed for a few days and then cut out the afternoon feed. The last to go will be the nap feed. He can nurse as much as he wants come 6:00 though. And he cosleeps with us so he can nurse at night as well.

If you aren't there, he can't nurse. He'll figure that out rather quickly. No need to actively do anything.

Re: Day weaning?

I have been trying to wean my 20 mo. DS during the day to start the process of weaning! Night will be harder since he is still wandering into my bed in the middle of the night.
