stocking a "nursing station"

so i was thinking about organizing a basket of supplies for when i'm sitting and nursing. i know the obvious things like burp rags, nursing pads, water bottle.....what are some things that you wish you had handy after you sat down to nurse?

Re: stocking a "nursing station"

I had never thought of having an organized, stocked nursing station! Thanks for the idea! I would add a box of Kleenex, and a small trash can for used disposable nursing pads.

This will be my first, we live in a rather large 3 story home. We sleep on the 3rd, live on the main and work in the basement... should I have a station on each floor or do you find yourself settling in the same spot every feeding?

I would have a station on each floor. You won't want to be running to your "spot" to get stuff.

Agreed with most of the comments... food for sure! One of my favorites is a homemade trail mix my friend makes that includes a variety of nuts, granola, and best part of all dark chocolate chips.
