EveningContractions

Pregnant with my second baby in 2 years and due in 2 weeks. I have been having lots of contractions in the evenings that calm down when I lay down, but everything is quiet during the daytime. I don't remember things feeling so unbalanced last time around. Any thoughts on why the contractions might be so strong at only one time of day?

Re: EveningContractions

Not sure- maybe your body just gets overtired this time around. My second pregnancy (specifically third trimester) was rougher than the first, probably just because my body was older. But I think the fact that the contractions go away when you change activities is a pretty solid indication that everything is fine. Congratulations! Having two is so hard, but the interactions between the children is priceless!!

Re: EveningContractions

Sounds like Braxton hicks contractions. They always happen to me at night but once I lay down and relax they go away.
