Probiotics and a 2 year old

My PLing 2 yr old has had diarrhea all day. I do have acidophilus probiotic blend capsules (adult) that I am thinking about giving her but I cannot find anywhere it says how much I should give her. Any ideas?
TIA

Our Ped GI recommends Florastor. One adult capsule a day opened up and poured in food. Luckily my son is tube fed, so we just dump it in his formula.

I use florastor, and also use it for my daughter. I open a capsule and mix it in milk, 1/2 in the AM and 1/2 in the PM. I hides best on milk. I still tend to put it in a sippy, even though she doesn't need a sippy because it hides it a bit better than an open cup. Good luck!

Hmmmm I wonder how ours would compare. I would bet it would be okay. We wont be going anywhere for a couple days to pick up anything.

You really can't overdose on probiotics. Consider that probiotic supplements have "billions" of bacteria, but naturally fermented foods like homemade yogurt, saurkraut, kimchi, ect, have TRILLIONS of these bacteria!

So don't overthink it
