Scratchy Prefolds?

I recently bought some GMD prefolds from different sellers on here. Most are nice and soft, but I got a batch that are a little rough, almost scratchy, not soft at all. I've washed and dried a couple times buy they're still not soft like the others. Does anyone know what could cause this, and how to get rid of it? My lo doesn't seem to mind, but I almost feel bad putting them on his bum.

You can always try adding a natural plant based fabric softener and try dryer balls to soften them up. That has always worked for me.

Re: Scratchy Prefolds?

I have used ecover but you can use seventh generation or Mrs. Myers as well.

My Mood:
I've used ecover on my gmd prefolds. It has softened them up nicely.
