My Mood:
After 6 months, we're back in cloth!

I was overwhelmed by the amount of laundry we were doing and adding another load every 2-3 days was just not working for me, so I slowly switched to disposables and used them full time for several months. I tried to come back to cloth several times but wasn't very happy with the stash, she was outgrowing the mediums, is uncomfortable in the prefolds-(too bulky) and I just couldn't get it working for us again.

But her little bum has been perpetually red for awhile now and I decided we needed to give cloth one last try. SO I bought 9 clearance cottonbabies pockets (6 snaps all in bubble since that's the only color they have left and 3 artist series aplix). They arrived and I put her back in cloth yesterday. And her bum is no longer red.

And we are no longer doing disposables full time. In fact...I'm making an effort to do cloth unless we'll be gone for awhile.

So I'm back. And it's good

Re: After 6 months, we're back in cloth!

Wow, same exact situation for me! Her bum is absolutely clear now, no creams and in cloth for everything but night time...because they all leave horrible red marks and if I loosen them then I get peed on.

Also discovered that her build has changed and I need to slowly stock up on some side snapping diapers...and of course good night time diapers.

What? You lost the MEOS love? Did you start the "I love MEOS thread" last year?
