2001 Ford Econoline

Does anyone own one? I'm trying to find out if it would have LATCH system. I've looked online with no luck.

Re: 2001 Ford Econoline

I don't think it would. Our econoline was older, (obviously no latch) but we have a 2001 dodge 15 passenger now and it doesn't have latch, so I am guessing a very similar Ford wouldn't either. I know that's not a hard a fast answer, but I seriously doubt it would.

Thank you for the response! I'm not seeing anything online, at all, so I agree. Regardless, it has sold. Just found out.

I know this is an old thread, but LATCH is only on vehicles 2002 or newer. My hubby used to have a 2001 Tahoe that he bought new and I would grumble how he couldn't have waited one more year to buy it because of the LATCH issue.

Ok. Maybe certain manufacturers got on board before 2002 then.

Re: 2001 Ford Econoline

I was thinking that after 2000, all vehicles had to have at least two? I can't remember the exact year for that law. But, I did know it was at least 2001. Anyway, thank you all for your responses. This van ended up selling super fast, and we didn't get a chance to see it.

I'm guessing they started appearing before 2002 but weren't mandated until then?
