I do wish I would have tried a coverall so I could let you know, but they're $19 in Canada and I just couldn't justify it for such a short period of time.

Olive is just about 4 weeks old and already 10.10lbs. The thirsties are still the best thing we have in terms of fit, trimness and reliability.
Maybe I'll just get the Thirsties and not even bother with anything else. I don't like trifolding for the newborn stage either. Thank you for all your help! I really appreciate it.

I hated my size 1 duos on my DS (Leaks like 80% of the time), but for some reason the xs sized Thirsties cover was great. Don't count out the Capri just because you're not trifolding, I used them on DS with crummy diaper service fitteds and they were the best. The fitteds were so beat up that they contained nothing, the Capri covers did all the work and they were bullet proof. And they had the best fit on my long & lean DS. This time around I have 5 size 1 capris and a couple sized Thirsties to use for the one on the way.
ETA: I also had NB RaRs but sold them. The Aplix rubbed and I never loved the snap one.

I agree with Jumbo. I think it is best to have a bit of a variety. I had no idea I'd like the thirsties so much, it just so happens that I do and that's what I have the most of. I got lucky!

Well you all are so helpful I think I'll just pick a couple different types and go with it.

Thanks for all the reviews and pictures! Your baby is absolutely precious, and you have given me hope that I'm headed in the right direction with my stash.... it's been so long since I've CD'd a newborn!
