What's your favorite cloth-friendly diaper creme?

I'm new to CD and been trolling different threads trying to get a sense of what folks use when they need a diaper creme. We're all trying to avoid repelling, so obviously Vaseline and anything petroleum-based is out. I read a suggestion that coconut oil be used, which is great. Any others?
Also, do you even need to use a creme on a daily basis if your LO doesn't have a rash? I assumed yes, but I'm finding out that folks are all over the place on that. Thoughts?? Thanks!

I do not use cream unless it is needed. What kind of diapers do you use? If you use cotton diapers, any cream will be fine. If you use pockets, or anything with synthetic material against your baby's bottom (fleece, suede cloth, etc) you will want to stick to something "cloth safe".

I usually only used cream after a bowel movement. I honestly just used regular cream like Desitin and put a fleece liner between the diaper and baby. The only time my son ever got rashy was if he sat in a poopy diaper for too long. In the case of rash, I usually used A&D to cure it.

I have FB OS pockets with organic cotton/hemp inserts.

Motherlove Diaper Rash and Thrush and Thirsties Bootylove are the same thing, just rebranded and sold in different sizes. They work GREAT!

CJ's smells great but didn't actually help diaper rashes go away on my kids.

Right now I'm using BALM! Baby Diaper Balm and First Aid Balm and that works OK.

Coconut oil! I know you mentioned it but just want to reassure you it works wonders or at least it does for my little man. I only use it if I start to see a little redness starting and usually by next diaper change its gone!

I make my own, melting together coconut oil and beeswax. I sometimes add essential oils. Put it into silicone travel tubes. Works great.
