help re: return of AF and decreased milk supply

So AF has made a return, for the second time since Xmas, and I am having problems with my milk supply. I exclusivey pump, so I know approx how much milk I normally have. In the morning I usualy get 12-16 oz. Thoughout the day I pump 3-4 times, getting around 6 oz. I'm down to barely 9 oz in the morning and am pumping like a madwoman all day just to try and keep up with DD. And still I have to give her about 4 oz of formula everyday.

How long does this last? I'm exhausting myself trying to keep up and I'm sure the stress of pumping and knowing I can't keep up is not helping with my supply. Any idea what I can do to increase my milk?

Mine usually only last for a few days. It seems like Noah is just eating eating eating and then one day he's fine. It really stinks, but keep at it...it will get better!

Try some fenugreek while you have AF or right before you know AF is coming. It always helped me! Good Luck.

I've been having problems since around 6mo or so. I read on Kellymom.com that you can try at Calcium/Magnesium supplement starting at O and ending a few days after AF starts. I'm going to try that next cycle...Just getting tired of all the trying to keep supply up with Fenugreek and pumping....

I'll see if I can post a link....

I can't find it, I'll keep looking....

see if this works....
