Kamsnaps difficult to snap

I've made a couple of covers using Kamsnaps, but they seem really hard to snap together. Will they get easier the more we use them? We really don't want velcro, but can't imagine trying to get these snapped while on our babe.

Perhaps you need to "repress" them. It is important to put the right amount of pressure onto the snap so that it opens/closes easily. You should hear an audible "snap" sound when opening/closing a snap. If you over or under tighten it, they generally don't make the snap sound and won't hold together well.

I'll try pressing them again. I feel like I'm squeezing the snap press pretty hard, but maybe its not enough every time. Not every snap is super difficult to snap, but most of them are.

Make sure the snap press is on a hard surface.

I realized that after I had been doing it on my carpet. As soon as I moved it to concrete all have been snapping quite well.
