I use ziplock storage baggies - the small snack sized ones and I put the bobbin and the matching thread in there. One set per baggie and then they're tossed in a box.

I saw on Pinterest a lady who used pedicure toe seperaters to lock the bobbin threads into place and then stored in a box. I thought It was inexpensive and genius!

I have a viking with green plastic bobbins and a bernina with metal bobbins, but they both fit and they work great!

oh, and my tomato pin cushion fits right in the middle, love these things
