Fitted fabric layers

Dd is a heavy wetter & I need to know what layers to use when making a fitted nighttime diaper.

I have organic cotton velour, Sherpa, the fleece that is called cuddle soft, some velvety looking fabric that is not suede cloth but so other stay dry. Please help me decide I will be putting this under wool. Dd is 8 months

I would add some hemp. Both my heavy wetter need it or the diaper has to be so thick that it is silly.

Is that fleece poly? If it is I would cut it and use it for liners.

With what you have I would use the CV for inner and outer a layer or two of shirpa with lay in soaker or a soaker attached to the bake seam made with shirpa and a CV top.

I agree about hemp. I never had issues when my son was using his hemp doublers in his GM diapers.

What I remember seeing on here (and I am sure there is someone more educated about this then me) is that in absorbency is (highest to lowest):

I am making newbies newborn (to 18 lbs) diapers out of cotton knit, hemp bamboo fleece, cotton velour. Soaker of hemp bamboo fleece, OBV, hemp bamboo fleece and cotton velour. I think they will be fairly absorbent. Though not like DH wants. He wants me to find an actual Tardis diaper that is bigger on the inside then it is on the outside. So he doesn't have to change diapers.

I think hemp is slow to absorb though so you don't want it on top... But I agree with the hemp... I also love the zorb doublers I made
