feeling so unprepared! less than 3 wks til EDD

FTM here and all of a sudden I feel like we're so far from being ready for the baby to come!!!! What is a realistic to-do list to prepare for baby? No matter what, I feel like I'm missing something

I thought this too before DS was born, but guess what: almost everything can also be done AFTER the baby comes!!! You will have plenty of time to shop online while rocking that baby. You will be able to go to Target or send someone for last minute purchases. You can always eat out or order in if there's no food in the fridge, although in the fridge was the one thing I wished I had prepared a bit more. Like, my mom came plus DH was home from work as was I and I had nothing for lunches. I had some dinners in the freezer but just hadn't thought of people wanting to eat during the day.

If you've got basic needs covered: place to sleep, diapers, car seat, a few newborn clothes, you're mostly set. I'd say make a list of time intensive tasks you most likely won't be able to do after the baby is here and try to tackle those. For me I wanted to finish the final details on our bathroom remodel... I started on it but didn't finish and now I don't know when it will get done.

Oh, remember to charge camera batteries as you approach your due date so those are ready to go!
