Question Simple Wishes Handsfree or DIY?

Hi Ladies,

How many handsfree bras do I need? Would two be okay?

Also did you use a Simple Wishes handsfree bra or did you make your own?

Thx!

Re: Simple Wishes Handsfree or DIY?

I have 1 medela handsfree bra. I wash it with LO clothes. In 3 hours it is clean and dry. This one, it works, but I wish I had something that would hold over my shoulders.

I only have one, since I'm only pumping at work 4 days a week. I would like to have another, because when things go wrong( like the ounce of milk that spilled in the bag on the way home today) I would like to know I had another clean, dry bra option. I have a medela bra, and it's okay, although a little awkward to get on. I would like one that I could wear as a normal bra, but works for pumping as well.

If you have any diy info, that sounds very interesting to me.

I just cut holes in a sports bra. Nice and tight and works great, just don't make the holes very big.

I did this when I was at home.

I bought some attachment that hook onto my nursing bra as my flanges are different. Try the elastic band trick at kellymom and just wear a nursing bra.

Re: Simple Wishes Handsfree or DIY?

I made my own from a regular bra. Just cut slits. I recently got a Medea one from a friend and don't like it tho because I can't use my hands very well with it to squeeze and massage the milk down. I keep meaning to try the kellymom trick. Does that work well when you need to do a lot of squeezing?
