Re: Imagine Bamboo vs Blueberry Bamboo (re:flats)

I wish the shipping wasn't so pricey on the Nicki's ones, I would have bought them by now. But I don't need $75 worth of stuff!

It's shipped by weight, is it really that expensive?

I think it just depends where u are in relation to where Nickis is...I am close..same state so shipping for a dozen was only quoting like $6 and some change...but if u live way on the east or west coast it will be more due to the weight.

this, I just ordered a dozen small bamboo prefolds from them plus ONE bamboo flat (to compare to my blueberrys ) shipping was $12 (WI to AL)...my order was 3.1 pounds.

It looks like the stated dimensions are a tad bigger on the imagines than on the blueberrys.....if that's the case I may wait a while before ordering a ton of either...since even the blueberries still seem a little big for my 2 mo.

When I quoted for a pack of 6 it was about $6 and some change to MO as well. But that $6 is a big portion considering the flats are only $20. I finally ordered only 1 because shipping for it is $0.85. That's about the same price per flat as buying a whole pack.

I know prefolds are, so I'm sure that makes a difference. I was looking at 6 flats and it was almost $9 in addition to the $20. I'd rather go for the Blueberry flats from My Sweet Pickles with free shipping, you know?

Haha! That's what I did too. With shipping, the price per imagine flat was the same if I bought one as it would have been if I bought a 6-pack. I wound up really liking the one I got, though, so I'll probably get a 6-pack or two some time soon.

I agree about the shipping, though. It stinks that it's not less expensive. Does Nicki's ever do free shipping specials or is the $75 limit pretty much all they do?

According to tracking, looks like today is the day (for the Nickis)! Theyll go straight in the wash and then we'll have a little comparison.

They do free shipping on some things... just not these right now.

It'd be cool if they have "introductory price" for these flats. I'll be happy to be meet a pack of these seemingly awesome flats.
