My Mood:
Ugh, someone may have eaten the tip off a marker

Should I panic? It's a washable Rose Art marker. They are non-toxic.
I haven't called the ped yet, it is 8 pm and after hours here. It was either my 4 year old or my nearly 8 month old. And I'm not even positive someone ate it, but I was just picking up the play room and found a marker with the tip missing. I know my 8 month old had stuck it in her mouth earlier in the afternoon, but when I took it out of her mouth I don't remember the tip missing. But who knows, it didn't occur to me she could have bitten off the tip so I didn't really inspect it, just grabbed it out of her mouth. I think she is teething, so she is hardcore chewing on everything.
I googled "baby ate marker tip" and various rewording of the same idea, and everything came up as "as long as they didn't choke on it it will pass" but I'm still kind of freaked out. The Poison Control website said the same thing; not poisonous.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything I should do? I honestly am not that worried if it was the 4 year old, but I'm more worried if it was the baby.
